THE NEW SCOUTBOBBER
Raw & Aggressive – the Indian Scout Bobber Features a Slammed Stance, Chopped Fenders, & Blacked-Out Styling
Strip it down. That was the inspiration Indian Motorcycle used when developing the latest model in its iconic Scout lineup, the new Indian Scout Bobber. A low slung, blacked-out, minimalist motorcycle that proves less is definitely more.
The new muscular Scout represents a core passion of motorcyclists - connecting to the road without a need for anything unnecessary. It’s a tangible means of escape from a life that is so easily bogged down by commitments and a boatload of unnecessary “stuff.”
“The Scout Bobber is our most raw and mean machine to date, and the ultimate in the celebration of what motorcycling is about – a powerful engine, two wheels, and no plans of where to go,” said Peter Harvey, Country Manager – Indian Motorcycle. “It’s an incredibly fun motorcycle that delivers a ton of attitude, along with a ton of power.”...IR Forum Support Jul 16, 2017 News from Indian Motorcycle Read More Views: 4,271 Likes: 5 Replies: 0 -

Announcing Indian Motorcycle custom “Black Bullet Scout”
This custom Indian Scout was built by Jeb Scolman- the same hot rod artisan responsible for the Spirit of Munro that was built to celebrate the launch of the Thunderstroke 111 in 2014.
Jeb was delivered an engine, and the simple instruction to build what he wanted to out of a new 2015 Indian Scout engine. Jeb’s flawless 100% custom metalwork picks up on the designs of pure speed motorcycles from the late 50s and early 60s with a fork mounted bullet fairing and the most minimal frame possible. Bikes with this silhouette took to land speed and drag racing tracks across the country.
The post-war hot rod crowd was using airplane drop tanks for race cars, and the motorcycle racers started to adapt nose cones to help them cut through the wind. As the bike took shape we started calling it the “Black Bullet”. The minimal body and stout but... -

Custom details that set the bike apart include an elongated custom swingarm, custom handlebar, custom radiator shroud and front number plate with an LED headlight. The 100+ horsepower of muscle in the Scout powerplant chewed up the earth via a custom tire chain designed for maximum grip when charging up a hill.
"Building a hill climber seemed easy enough, but it posed some unique challenges," Says Doug Siddens of IndianMotorcycles.net. "Enthusiasts know what a hill... -
