      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Hi all . While admiring the Scout range at the dealer yesterday , I could not help but wonder why they have not made a Scout with full Valanced guards?  They have gone both ways with the big twins now to cater for both schools.  But only gone short and now shorter for the Scout.  Many riders love the Valanced guards  ,  but are overwhelmed by the pure bulk of a a Chief , but would love to  have a more traditional Scout .  Be very interested in hearing peoples thoughts on a Scout with...<br />

The bike has not been picked up just yet , but is going soon . Beautiful bike and stunning in the flesh . They were advertising bike rentals and a tour that included attending the 2nd NZ National INDIAN Rally . So now all you have to do in NZ is rent an Indian to go along and enjoy their National INDIAN Rally . Wow talk about sour grapes , But come on Indian Australia . lets get the Australian National Rally a reality soon . <br />
PS . Good on you NZ , at least you have a Rally...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Guys, just a quick question, If any of you do your own oil changes and filter, what oil do you use? As opposed to using the indian branded and what filter. I do my own on my fjr and I use penrite and k&amp;n filters so I plan on doing my own changes inbetween the services. Also has anyone gone for the aftermarket oil stick with the temp gage from indian aftermarket company. I heard that its pretty hard to check the oil level due to the stick being a dark colour]]></content:encoded>

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Many of the current crop of Chiefs have the new 19&quot; wheel as std . They all run the new slimline front guard . Some owners are retro fitting the front guard War Bonnet . This looks really good ,  but I personally love the valanced  front guard . I also like the new 19&quot; wheel , and I have seen it on a Chieftain Dark Horse with valanced guard . My research shows it will fit straight in , as the OD is same as the std wheel .  The interresting part is they supply you new tripple trees . Not sure...<br />
